The behavior support plan is an intervention strategy based on the results from a functional behavioral assessment. Behavior support plans should include the following parts[i]:
- Behavior hypothesis statements (i.e., assumptions about the function of the behavior—what purpose it serves)
- Prevention strategies
- Replacement skills
- Consequence strategies
